If you do any work with ferrous metals (in the shipyard, aerospace, steel mill, foundry, weldment or vehicle overhaul), you need the performance advantage of the Parker P-2 Contour Probe. The P-2 is only 4.5 lbs (the P-2S is only 5 lbs) and has 15# lift strength. This ergonomic, lightweight design is extremely comfortable and reduces operator fatigue without compromising field strength. This new style allows for an excellent grip in a variety of testing conditions as well.

Mechanically, the P-2 Probe will conform to practically any surface configuration. It produces strong, constant AC fields.

Precise Area Inspection
Powerful magnetic fields are concentrated and applied to the precise area to be inspected. The construction of the new P-2 Contour Probe allows for the replacement of all internal components.

One-Person Package
Add a Contour Probe Kit or Magnetic Inspection Accessories for a complete One-Person Package. One person takes it to work and easily performs a thorough and reliable inspection in a fraction of the time consumed by large, bulky equipment.

 

Parker Research Yoke Light

Secondary Lights for Better Inspections

The Parker Y-Series Yoke Lights are secondary contour lights designed to fit Parker Contour Probes. The lights automatically activate when the yoke is energized and produce substantial close-in illumination for magnetic particle testing. Options include Bulb and LED lights.

P-2 Compatible lights are the Y-P20 & Y-P20-LED. It should be noted, that the lights operate in the AC mode only.
