The TecScan ARMANDA Scanner is a light weight, portable X-Y scanner specifically designed for non-destructive inspection of metallic and composite structures. It is perfectly suited for inspection of aircraft, but can also be used quite effectively in the lab or shop as well. The ARMANDA is equipped with a spring loaded Z-axis designed to provide rapid and accurate transducer positioning while following contoured surfaces, and its light weight enables it to be mounted easily if a vertical scan is needed. It can be easily disassembled and stored as well, making it an excellent tool for site inspections.
