Echo Z+ has an operating range of 0°F to 200°F (-18°C to 93°C) and is a high acoustic impedance ultrasonic couplant, that increases acoustic impedance and decrease surface noise, making it ideal for very rough, pitted, corroded surfaces or tight curved test objects and concrete. Echo Z+ contains a short term ferrous corrosion inhibitor. Echo Z+ contains glycerin and is intended to be removed from non-ferrous metal parts after inspection (not for use on aluminum or aluminum magnesium aircraft parts). High Z is a high acoustic impedance couplant which optimizes acoustic transmission and reduces surface noise on curved, rough, pitted or heavily corroded surfaces including concrete. HIGH Z provides the highest acoustic impedance of all Sonotech couplants. High Z's acoustic impedance enables its application in the ultrasonic inspection of cement dams and bridges.
