Slow drying for extended inspection time.

Superior transducer lubricant that will extend transducer life in flaw detection applications.

Reduced surface tension; provides fast wetting

Good ferrous corrosion inhibition; compatible with most metals, plastics and composites.

Completely salt stable; will not thin with corrosion, marine environment or highway infrastructure subjected to de-icing salts.

Environmentally and Operator Friendly - no formaldehyde, nitrates, nitrites, glycol ethers or glycerin.

Medium Viscosity: 40,000 cps LVT Spindle 4 @ 6 rpm

pH: 8 nominal @ 20°C

Operating Temperature: 18° to 120°F (-8° to 50°C) for most flaw detection and thickness gauging applications.

Halogens and Sulfar: Less than 50 ppm

Conforms to ASTM F519, which provides a means by which to detect possible hydrogen embrittlement of steel parts due to contact with chemicals during manufacturing, overhaul and service life.

Removal: Wash with water or wipe with paper or cloth rag before couplant dries. The polymer in SoniX will form a film if allowed to dry on a part. If complete removal is required, do so before the couplant has dried by washing with water or once dried remove by pressure washing or with a brush and running water.
