Note: The CR series (CR-1e, CR-1, CR-2e, CR-2, CR-3e & CR-3) Rockwell Hardness Testers have been upgraded to the new CRX series (CRX-1e, CRX-1, CRX-2e, CRX-2, CRX-3e & CRX-3).

The CRX Series are sleek and durable Rockwell Type Hardness testers that are built for high volume testing with precise accuracy. Available in standard, superficial and twin models, the CRX Series can accommodate many testing requirements.

Features:

  • Hardness conversion display for many scales are displayed on the panel in compliance with ASTM (E-140),
  • Upper and lower limits capability and HI / OK / LO display
  • Plastic measurement mode comes standard - Specific measuring method for plastic in compliance with ASTM is activated by one-touch operation.
  • Steady load spindle mechanism for measuring spherical surface - Two ball guides are adopted on upper and lower parts of the load spindle, providing constant and accurate measurement on cylindrical and spherical surface.
  • Easy "zero" setting with electric sound
  • Automatic and manual start loading - In "AUTO" measuring mode, the test load is automatically applied once the minor load has been set (290.0 to 299.9 on the digital display). Automatic load application does not start if the minor load exceeds the range (over 300.0 on the digital display).
  • One piece, heavy duty cast housing enclosing all internal parts
