The Guardian 17 is the first military-grade portable DR system consisting of a Panel, X-ray Source and Rugged Case or Backpack. With one-touch operation and an Xsight filter for quick and accurate image enhancement, the x-ray image is captured, showing the smallest defects and delivering high resolution images for security applications immediately. This dust and water proof system is designed for harsh field conditions. The Guardian 17 system is available in wired or wireless configurations and is ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) ready. Optional Mil-STD connectors are available.
Made with high-quality, durable components, Guardian 17 system provides long-lasting performance, while requiring almost no maintenance and enables fast deployment. This dust and water-proof panel is designed for harsh field conditions. With one touch image capture and use of the Xsight filter for quick and accurate image enhancement, the Guardian 17 Panel obtains instant results onsite with high resolution. The panel is compatible with wireless mode and is available with handle configurations. ROV ready and optional Mil-STD connectors are available upon request.
The XR150 X-ray Source is a portable, battery powered, pulsed X-ray generator, capable of penetrating at least 45mm of steel (depending on the sensitivity of the x-ray image plate used). The X-ray source requires no warmup time before use and can emit 5,100 pulses on one full battery charge. All this, in a device weighing only 2.13 kg including the battery.

Vidisco offers a versatile transport option for Guardian 17 in backpack form. Helping you move your Guardian 17 anywhere and get your NDT jobs done. The backpack includes padded compartments to protect the stored components, with a dedicate compartment for Golden sources (excluding XRS4) and a cable (from 15 to 900m, 50m being the standard cable length). Dual energy is provided using XRDE plus- Attached to Golden Engineering sources and a Wi-Fi connection can be established at 50m/300m/1mile Wi-Fi (2.4GHz).
