Replaces the Woodpecker WP-632
The Woodpecker WP-632AM combines both the WP-623 Handpiece and WP-632M Monitor into one unit making it a more powerful tool than previous models. Traditionally, coin tapping has been used to detect disbonds on structurally bonded materials, but this difficult, nonquantitative method is made obsolete by the WP-632AM portable electric tap tester. This tester is compact and lightweight, allowing single handed operation and significantly reducing time required for inspection with high accuracy. The WP-632AM utilizes a CPU which comparatively evaluates the output of a force sensor attached to the actuator. The results are indicated with LEDs & numerical values displayed on the LCD screen, clearly showing the set and measured contact times (in milliseconds) and making it easier to setup on the test standard. Data can be saved or transferred to a PC for traceability and detailed analysis.
