Overview

The Manual Swivel-Gimbal Manipulator provides versatile out-of-the-water manual positioning control for ultrasonic transducers in immersion tank applications. This manipulator offers dual-axis positioning with 270-degree swivel rotation about the up-tube axis and ±100-degree gimbal adjustment for precise probe angling from horizontal to tank bottom.

Available with multiple Z-axis drive options—manual knob, DC motor, or stepper motor—this manipulator accommodates diverse inspection requirements from basic manual positioning to fully programmable automated scanning. The robust 1-inch diameter up-tube assembly ensures rigid mounting and vibration resistance for reliable, repeatable inspections.
