The Sonatest SMM and LMM are single compression transducers with replaceable soft membranes. These contact-type transducers are excellent for detecting flaws on rough, round, and irregularly shaped surfaces.
SMM and LMM Transducers are used for flaw detection. Their 'soft nose' membranes ensure better contact between transducer and curved, rough, or irregular shaped surfaces for better coupling of the sound beam to the material.
