Replaceable Delay Line Transducers are highly damped – providing a broad band signal combined with the delay line for detecting near surface flaws or precision thickness gauging.

Applications

Cobra Replaceable Delay Line Transducers provide good near surface resolution for measuring thin materials and improved coupling to composite and fiberglass.  

Delay lines are easily replaced allowing the transducer to be used for years. Applications include:

  • Measurement of thin metals, plastic and glass
  • Detection of delaminations in composite materials
  • Measurement of fiberglass boat hulls and tanks
