Low Frequency Delay Line Transducers

Low Frequency Delay Line Transducers

Low Frequency Transducers With Replaceable Polystyrene Delay Lines

Overview

Delayed contact probes utilize replaceable polystyrene delay lines to extend transducer life. The ideal delay length places desired reflections within the multiple reflections from the delay tip. Ultran's low-frequency UT replaceable delay line probes are manufactured with Ultran's patented gas matrix piezo-composite (GMP™) and come with side-mounted BNC connectors.

Features

  • Wide range of low-frequency models available from 30 kHz to 500 kHz
  • Active diameters from 13 mm to 100 mm for both spot inspection and broad coverage
  • Manufactured with Ultran's patented gas matrix piezo-composite (GMP™) for high sensitivity and bandwidth
  • Replaceable polystyrene delay lines extend transducer life and can be machined to match part geometries
  • Additional delays, custom connector types, and other modifications are available upon request
  • Corrosion-resistant stainless steel housings with side-mounted BNC connectors; one delay line and securing ring included as standard
