Licensing Options

Simula Courseware is available via Code Key, USB Key, or Time Key Options. 

  • The Code Key Option lets the user run the course with all features and is available via direct download. However, the Code Key Option is only available on the computer on which it is downloaded. This is ideal for single users. This involves no shipping and has a lower cost than the USB Key Option.
  • The USB Key Option lets the user run the course with all features once the USB is shipped to the user and plugged into the computer. The USB Key Option allows for course access on any computer which it is plugged into. This is ideal for multiple users. 
  • The Time Key Option lets the user run full courseware but is valid for only 3 months for single courses or 6 months for course bundles. The Time Key Option is similar to the Code Key Option in that it is available via direct download, but, can only be used on the computer to  which it is downloaded to. At the end of the 3 or 6 month period, the Time Key can be converted into a permanent code, paying only the price difference.
