 Overview

Technisonic's Protective Face Transducers (PF) are designed to be used with three different types of protective face options complimenting a wide variety of testing applications. Each transducer comes with a Protective Membrane Kit and additional accessories can be ordered separately. The basic transducer supplied is a general purpose series (GP) and has a top mounted BNC connector.

  • Protective Membranes
  • High Temperature Delay Lines
  • Protective Wear Caps

Protective Faces

Protective Face (PF)

Used for better contact between the transducer and curved, rough, or irregularly shaped surfaces. Spare membranes can be ordered by the dozen

High Temp Delay Lines (PD)

Used for testing hot surfaces up to 550°F. Technisonic's “Technitherm", reduces signal drift caused by temperature variations and improves sensitivity. One Delay Ring per transducer is also required to use this option. Standard delays are one inch long, longer delay lines are available.

Protective Wear Caps (PC)

Expendable wear caps which protect the transducer from damage when inspecting extremely rough or abrasive surfaces.
