Meter calibration by pyroelectric method provides superior linearity and controlled spectral response. Auto-zeroing feature and reliable electronic/electro-optic circuitry provide excellent signal-to-noise ratio. High-quality interference filters ensure closely controlled spectral coverage (320 to 400nm) and eliminate sensitivity to infrared.

Longer Sensor Life

Rugged, silicon photodiode is sealed and fastened in a metal / quartz package to protect against adverse effects of shock and humidity, eliminating the possibility of photodiode fracture resulting in longer lasting sensors.

Truer Readings

Upgraded sensor components, sealed silicon photodiode and a new calibration light source, among other improvements, provide error-free readings and more repeatable results. True values can be obtained with just one reading without requiring a second reading to compensate for infrared sensitivity.
