Long eyesight adjustment times of up to five minutes are history with the Kowobrite X. Although the safelight is very bright, there is no exposure of the film (streaks), because the "red light" is not produced by an optical filter but by LEDs, which emit light through wave lengths, thereby not effecting X-ray films.
There are two available versions: a 95-240 V AC model with EU AC type plug and a 9-34 V DC model with free +/- ends for mobile vehicle type darkroom labs.
