The DÜRR NDT phosphor imaging plate (IP) product range has been carefully designed to fit the specific needs of the non-destructive testing industry with the different types covering the widest range of possible radiographic testing applications. Available in different resolutions and formats, up to 35 cm (14") width and virtually unlimited length. Custom shapes are also possible. Imaging plates can typically be used up to 1000 times or more depending on the application.
UH Blue, UHD Blue, HD Blue, HCR White, CR White and GCR White Imaging Plates are offered for a range of signal to noise and sharpness. The use of HD/XHD imaging plates to test welds according to ISO 17636-2 Class B with a penetrated wall thickness of 2 mm is recommended as they easily fulfill this requirement. For corrosion under insulation (CUI) evaluation, a higher sensitivity imaging plate should be used to allow short exposure time. This high sensitivity can be provided by CR/GCR imaging plates which still gives a 100 μm SRb to meet the requirements of EN 16407-1.

The plate protectors are used to help extend the life of the plates and reduces wear during the feeding process.
