CR Applications Made Easy

Carestream Industrex Digital Imaging Plates are designed for computed radiography in NDT applications. They offer the flexibility of film without the need for wet processing, allowing you to capture and read images quickly and easily both in the field and in the lab. The images can be optimized if needed and stored or shared digitally.

Flex GP, HR, HR-PRO, and XL Blue imaging plates offered for a range of signal to noise and sharpness. The HR-PRO Plate is designed with improved physical properties for use in HPX-PRO Readers in tough handling environments. Available in a range of sizes. 

Features

  • Flexible – wraps around most shapes
  • Sharp – better resolution than high-speed films, and a suitable replacement for many applications
  • Available in multiple sizes – to cover a wide range of applications
  • Versatile – use in a rigid or flexible cassette
  • Efficient – phosphor plates can be erased and reused thousands of times, require less exposure than film, and provide faster image access
  • Certified – when used with Carestream Industrex HPX-1 Plus Digital Systems, all plates meet requirements for the highest system class per EN 14784-1 and ASTM E 2446
  • HR and XL Blue imaging plates have been BAM Design-type tested in the HPX-1 Plus Digital System

Digital Imaging Plates Comparison

General Purpose (GP) features very low noise. XL Blue digital imaging plates feature approximately 35% higher resolution than our Flex HR plate with the right shot quality, spatial frequency, beam conditions and energy.
