PH Tool ERVD (Extended Range Variable Diameter) Step Block
The versatile new Extended Range Variable Diameter (ERVD™) Step Block is intended for use as a curved step block for thickness testing of pipe. This one small, convenient block covers sizes ranging from 3/4" NPS curvature up to 4” NPS, with multiple thicknesses included. A flat section is also included for calibration on larger diameters. Engraved markings show pipe diameters for each section. Narrow slots are cut completely through the block to create multiple points for calibration. The various distances from the OD to the outboard side of the slot represent different wall thicknesses. Thickness values are engraved directly on the block for convenient calibration. This block is also engraved with alloy and a unique serial number that ties it to the cert.
