PCWI Compact Pulse Porosity Detectors are fully adjustable and have regulated 'pulsed' output up to 20kV, 40kV. The P20 and P40 models can be used for porosity and holiday testing of carbon impregnated coatings such as carbonated rubber, thick coatings such as rubber linings and on ‘plastic' / fiberglass type coatings, likely to become electrostatically charged.

The P20 & P40 models are ideal for use in moist conditions, on wet and contaminated coating surfaces. Commonly known as holiday detectors, spark testers, porosimeters or jeepers. Proudly These models comply with the requirements of AS3984.1-2002 and Nace Standards: SP0490-2007, RP2074-2004 & SP0188-2006. Manufactured in Australia by PCWI.

Applications:

 
  • Used for detection of coating porosity (pin-holes, or holidays) in dielectric (insulation type) coatings on conductive substrates, including concrete.
  • Regulated "Pulsed" output fully adjustable
