Introducing DroneX, the patented game-changing technology for power line inspection. Powerline X-ray inspection is costly, difficult and sometimes dangerous, as traditionally, they are done by using helicopters and bucket trucks. Now with the advent of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) or Drones, Pacific NDT has started changing the game. Using a custom drone, the DroneX system successfully uses a mounted x-ray imaging machine to safely inspect conductor sleeves on power lines. DroneX has been acquiring data in the air for over a year and is producing accurate and actionable images.
In addition to the incredible DroneX, the PiX Software with its "Single Click" process makes acquiring images very easy. When launched, the software auto-connects to the detector and x-ray. Just press "Ready" and an image is acquired within a few seconds and wirelessly transferred onto a tablet/laptop for immediate review and analysis.
