Proper illumination of the test area is a fundamental requirement of MPI. The Yoke Light turns on when you turn on the Yoke so you don't need a third hand to hold a flashlight as you already have your hands full with the Yoke and powder bulb. It is also a great tool to demonstrate the concept of induction.
