The Best Yoke for Underwater TestingThe UW-12 and UW-115 Contour Probes are rugged high performance instruments designed for Underwater Magnetic Particle Inspection. Components are protected by a reinforced glass-filled nylon housing and all entries are fully potted. The flexible, fully adjustable leg design allows the field to be "focused" at a precise area of inspection (regardless of part size or mass).
The UW-12 operates from a 12-volt battery or 12 VDC power supply and produces a strong constant DC field. It is provided with a four foot Neoprene, #16, 2- cord “Pig Tail”. This Pig Tail (cord) is to be used in conjunction with the user's approved underwater connector or spliced to a #16, 2 underwater cable. A fused 12VDC power source with the proper rating must be controlled by “top side” switching or by an approved underwater switching device.
The UW-115 operates from a customer-supplied GFI-protected 115VAC power source and produces a strong constant AC field.
