Compact Multi-Directional Magnetic Particle Testers for Small Parts Crack Detection

 

Overview

The Microflux 300 (12") and 450 (18") by Uniflux are compact multi-directional magnetic particle testers for small parts crack detection according to ISO 9934-3. They are equipped with two AC phase-shifted magnetizing circuits that create a rotating magnetic field for detecting cracks in both the longitudinal and transverse orientations in one operation.

  • Induction (yoke) to detect radial cracks
  • Current flow to detect axial cracks
  • Using a central conductor ring‐shaped parts can be inspected
  • Each magnetizing circuit is equipped with:
    • Demagnetization
    • Infinitely variable intensity control
    • Digital Current meter
  • Each magnetization circuit can be switched on or off individually
  • Compact design
  • Foot switch activation
  • Test current Magnetization control of the current and field flow
  • Pneumatic clamping of the workpiece
