Task:

A bar is the last semi-finished intermediate step between the ingot and the finished shape.

The magnetic particle inspection of bars requires a large unit be equipped to handle bars Ø20mm to Ø200mm and 2.7m to 6.5m long.

Solution:

This system is specifically for the use of detecting surface and near surface discontinuities (longitudinal and inclined) in ferrous bars in sizes from Ø20mm to Ø200mm squared, using the contact magnetic particle wet inspection method.
