Multi-Vector or Multi-Directional wet horizontal magnetic particle testing machines can cut inspection in half by testing for longitudinal and transverse flaws simultaneously. You can test more with less labor and less time which makes these machines perfect for production environments. Dual-Vector machines replace the traditional coil with field flow fixtures which act like a yoke for creating a longitudinal magnetic field. This type of machine is recommended for short parts with uniform geometry. Tri-Vector machines add a Coil for a 2nd longitudinal field. These machines are recommended for larger and more complex part geometries.
MagWerks Multi-Vector machines have selectable magnetizing waveforms; AC and HWDC or AC, HWDC and FWDC which can be used in any combination. AC demagnetizing is standard on all models. Reversing DC demagnetizing is available as an option and recommended when testing large or thick parts with high retentivity. The most common part length capacities are 44" and 92", however other lengths are available upon request. All MagWerks wet horizontal machines are made with a stainless steel tank and are available with stainless steel pumps and poly grates for use with water bath carriers. Hard maple grates are used for oil based carriers. Autobath is an option that improves testing efficiency.
