Overview

DeltaFlux – OUT OF THE BOX THINKING.

Most magnetic particle testers are “Wet Horizontal type”, but some parts due to their geometry would be better inspected with a “Wet Vertical tester”

Take the case of the Automated Vertical MPI System and similar components.

  1. Heavy parts are more easily loaded and unloaded with less chance of damage to the part and operator.
  2. They can be supported and rotated for inspection on a turntable which can also act as one contact pole for the “head shot”. The other pole clamps to the top of the part, then current is passed through the part creating a circular magnetic field to detect longitudinal flaws. The amperage is programmed to change to match the parts diameter.
  3. Motorized Coil with encircling spray travels the length of the part pulsing at predetermined locations creating a longitudinal magnetic field for detection of transverse defects.
  4. This design takes up much less floor space than a Wet Horizontal tester.
  5. Safety shields are incorporated to meet your local requirements.
  6. Power supplies are available to meet your requirements AC, HWDC, FWDC, 1,000 – 10,000 amps with either decaying AC or Reversing DC demagnetization.
