MagWerks Mobile MPI Power Packs

MagWerks Mobile MPI Power Packs are capable of magnetizing the part in one direction at a time (circular or longitudinal) and is available in many different magnetizing configurations such as AC, HWDC and FWDC. Standard power packs start out at 4,000 amps and go up to 10,000 amps. All standard Magwerks mobile power packs having an AC magnetizing waveform, automatically come with an automatic AC demagnetizing feature. The Reversing DC demagnetizing feature is available as an option. Low frequency (0.5Hz) AC demagnetizing option is available on any 3-phase machine which has reversing DC installed.

With any mobile power pack, cable length and size is a critical variable in determining usable output. When comparing various models and brands it is always good practice to compare the published output to cable-length graphs. An additional critical variable is the power line draw at rated output; the higher the output requirement, the higher the power line draw is going to be. With mobiles going to different locations, it is always important to check the voltage and current available at the job site, not all models are multi-voltage capable.
