Copper and Lead Contact Pads and Plates

Overview

This range of copper and lead contact pads come in a variety of shapes, sizes and types to make sure your magnetic bench is outfitted correctly for the parts you inspect. Magnaflux copper braided contact pads prevent arc burn by helping maintain proper electrical contact between test parts and contact heads.

Choose a solid pad if you are inspecting parts with flat ends, pick a braided pad if your parts have rounded or irregular shaped ends.

Copper Pads and Lead Plates

Standard contact plates are made from lead for long life, and standard contact pads are made from braided copper to conform to part surfaces. Heavy-duty contact plates are lead with braided copper reinforcement for rough cast parts and rugged service. Select the right size and type of contact for your specific application needs.

Double-Braided Pad with V-Block

4.75” x 7.5”

Heavy copper braid provides contact over larger surface area. Built with neoprene, the V-block base centers and supports test parts. The pad can be reversed to provide two wear faces.

For Equipment:

Fits all units except A-915

Double Braided Pad with Clip

4.75” x 7.5”

Offers the same performance as the 18948 but clips over the headstock.

For Equipment:

Fits both A-915 and H Series units

Lead Contact Plate

6.75" x 6.625" x 0.25" thick

Standard Lead Contact Plate is the replacement for original equipment. The soft lead plate provides excellent contact with the test part

Heavy Duty Lead / Copper Plate

6.75" x 6.625" x 0.25" thick

Heavy Duty Lead/Copper Plate contains braided copper impregnated with lead. It is more durable than solid lead plates. This plate is recommended for higher current, high production applications
