The King Pin Tester is the ideal tool for hammer-strike hardness testing. An indentation is created by hammer strike on the King Pin Testers head, which transfers the force onto a calibrated King Pin.
Please note that a hammer is not included in the kit.
Every King Pin Tester includes a bag of 250 King Pins. The Pins feature a less than 1% tolerance, and shear at 1580 kgf. Each bag of pins comes with a hardness table for converting your indent to the hardness value.
The King Pin Tester is optimal for use on hard-to-reach areas for Brinell Hardness Testing.
