Overview

The DSDC-5 Pipeline Demagnetizing System is a highly-portable unit for pre-weld demagnetization passes on pipes. 

The DSCDC-5 is ideal for overcoming obstacles associated with residual magnetization including: 

  • Trial and error methods that can take hours or days to make the root pass
  • PIGs leaving significant amounts of residual magnetism behind
  • Regulatory requirements increasing the frequency of inspections
  • Burning out welding equipment and/or cables trying to overcome magnetism

Features

  • Operation is simple with the newly designed instrument panel only one switch and one knob
  • The Pipeline Demagnetizing Kit weighs less than 100 lbs., (45 kg) and operates from either 110 volt or 220 volt power supply

The DSDC-5 ideal for applications where pipeline demagnetization depends on accessibility, portability of the demag unit, and reliability.
