Although classic (AC line frequency) tunnel demagnetizers have been around for years, many people have found that they are not capable of fully demagnetizing thick materials and hard or high alloy materials. These materials require lower frequency and higher power to remove magnetism. That is why Maurer Magnetic has brought the classic tunnel demagnetizers to a whole new level by adding the patented CFT® (Constant Field Technology).

Compared to traditional demagnetizing coils, the CT-U + DN Industrial Demagnetizer with CFT® increases the demagnetizing performance by a multiplier of 4 to 16. This creates new possibilities, like demagnetizing heavier workpieces or several small parts at the same time. Thanks to the control interfaces, integration into automated sequences is extremely easy.

Pulse or Continuous Demagnetizing Modes

Pulse demagnetizing is best for short components. Place the item in the coil, press the PULSE button and the part will be demagnetized with a powerful and precise pulse.  Magnetically resilient parts can also be treated with several pulses.

When used in an automated production line, the Pulse mode saves space as it does not require a run-off area, such as a conveyor belt or a roller conveyor. Elongated components can be demagnetized by sliding through the coil at a constant speed either manually or on a conveyor.

 

  

 

Coil Module CT-U

The CT-U coil is completely cast with insulating material. Coils are fitted with temperature sensors to prevent overheating. The coil module is connected to the power module with a 10' long power cable which can be adjusted upon customer request.
