Overview

Integrity Products Inspection Labels are high quality thickness measurement location (TML) labels for Pipe and Equipment Process Safety Management. Typically made with matte silver polyester material with UV laminate to resist degradation from scuffing, chemicals, moisture and wide temperature fluctuations. The adhesive is made with a high performance acrylic for strong bonding on textured surfaces.

For the best bonding conditions, the application surface should be clean and dry (free of loose particulate) at room temperature or slightly higher. Suggested cleaning solvents are heptane or an industrial grade isopropyl alcohol.

Material Specifications

Inspection Label Specifications

  • Materials: 
    • Typical Label Stock: 3.5 mil matte silver mylar polyester material with 1.0 mil UV laminate
    • Adhesive: high performance acrylic (leachable chloride PPM 3, flouride < 1, and sulfar < 1)
  • Minimum Application Temperature: 58°F (15°C)
  • Time Requirements:
    • 48 - 72 hours to achieve 90% of ultimate bond strength
    • Several weeks to achieve 100% of ultimate bond strength
    • Increase rub down pressure for higher initial bonds
