This video shows Mi-Glow® 318 migrating to residual magnetic fields caused by grinding cracks at 30X magnification. The Mi-Glow® 318 is a dual sized particle allowing for a broader inspection range of fine to medium sized discontinuities.
Mi-Glow® 318 is Mi-Glow® 800 and Mi-Glow® 920 fluorescent yellow-green particles premixed with powdered Wetting Agent 34 for use in water media. Mi-Glow® 318 is designed to be used with black lights to detect forging type discontinuities.
Physical Characteristics:
Green powder with a slight detergent odor.
Particle Certification:
Particles meet or exceed all relevant industry specifications including but not limited to MIL-STD-1949, AMS 3044, MIL-STD-271, NAVSEA 250-1500-1 and NTR-1E. Certification is included with each shipment.
