The new Hawkeye SuperNOVA LED delivers more light, longer run time, LED longevity, and more convenient intensity control. It is 90% brighter, and runs twice as long as the old Hawkeye SuperNOVA, all in a 25% smaller package. Intensity control is now more convenient and versatile. Charger included.

Light Intensity

Light intensity can be varied in two ways:

Press and hold the tailcap button to cycle through high, medium and low intensity levels. Release the button at the desired intensity level.
Turn the knurled ring to adjust the internal mechanical shutter.
The knurled ring turns through a total of 20° rotations, don't try to force it further.
When intensity readings are reached, click the tailcap button once from any operating mode to turn the light off.

Charging

The SuperNOVA LED must be fully charged before first use. Plug the charger into the appropriate outlet. Slide the SuperNOVA LED, handle first, into the charger until the contacts snap into engagement. With the light inserted properly in the charging cradle, the red, charge-indicator LED should go on. While charging the LED glows steadily and when fully charged, the LED blinks about once per second. It is normal for the indicator to switch between steady glow and blinking as the battery reaches full charge. A full charge takes about 3 hours.
