Ray-Check ASTM E1647 Contrast Sensitivity Gauges

Ray-Check ASTM E1647 Contrast Sensitivity Gauges

Overview

Used in conjunction with a high contrast resolution measuring gauge such as a Duplex Wire Image Quality Indicator. Contrast Sensitivity Gauges measure contrast sensitivity independent of the imaging system spatial resolution limitations.

Contrast Sensitivity Gauges are manufactured with four precision thickness recesses representing the four levels of contrast sensitivity to be measured- 1, 2, 3 and 4%. Contrast sensitivity gauges are designed with four gauge sizes. Each gage size covers a range of thicknesses as shown in the Technical Specifications.
