EchoTrack Ambient Temperature Couplant, 2 Viscosities

EchoTrack is an ultrasonic couplant for flaw inspection and thickness gauging that is compatible with most materials, has excellent ferrous corrosion inhibition and is formaldehyde and glycol ether free.

Available in two viscosities, medium and high, to address most UT applications.

Easier removal with water wash, not film-forming.

Less residue and better multi-metal capabilities.

Slow drying for extended inspection time.

Reduced surface tension provides fast wetting.

Contains no glycerin, which can interfere with subsequent penetrant inspection.

Environmentally friendly - no formaldehyde, nitrates, nitrites or glycol ethers.

Viscosity:
Standard (medium: flowable gel)
High (stiff gel, stays in place)

pH: 8.0 nominal at 20°C

Operating Range: 18° to 180°F (-8° to 82°C) for most ambient temperature flaw detection and thickness gauging applications.

Halogens and Sulfar: less than 50 ppm

Conforms to ASTM F519 - this test method provides a means by which to detect possible hydrogen embrittlement of steel parts (plated / coated or bare) due to contact with chemicals during manufacturing, overhaul or service life.
